MTB Sierra Aixorta

Panoramic mountain biking tour in breathtaking scenery

MTB tour Sierra Aixorta

Our meeting point is – as usual – the port of Jávea. After a coffee and some small talk to get acquainted, we set off. Our shuttle takes us to the starting point of the tour to Castell de Castells. After about 45 minutes we reach our starting point in the mountains and prepare ourselves and the bikes for the mountain biking tour which lies ahead. We are faced by approx. 20 km of forest paths and gravel roads with steep climbs. Right from the beginning we follow a gravel path to an altitude of 1,080 meters. Again and again there are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and we quickly forget the hardship of the ascent. Great rock formations and flowering meadows alternate on the bike trail. After a break, where we can regain a little bit of strength, we enjoy the descent which ends on a paved road.

We follow this road briefly until our bikes once more get gravel under their tyres. Again steep slopes and rapid descents alternate on gravel and forest roads. After about 20 km off road and a wide grin on our faces, we now arrive on an asphalted road which we follow up to Castell de Castells. A refreshing beverage awaits us here, where we can review the impressions and experiences of this MTB tour.

Pauses for a drink and/or taking photos are made based on individual needs, so that every participant can take enough photos of the mountain bike tour.
